Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various manufacturing spaces. Your work ensures a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all occupants. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Use vacuums, and carpet cleaners to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. This task includes employee smoking areas. Tamping smoking extinguisher containers and replacing when needed. Handle custodial responsibilities such as replenishing supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining hygiene standards. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Support industrial cleaning projects when required. Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments with a focus on janitorial or custodial duties. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies. Notifying purchasing when supplies need to be ordered. Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization. Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks within scheduled hours.
