Duties Perform thorough cleaning of construction sites, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and debris removal to maintain a safe working environment Use specialized cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaning tools to ensure high-quality results Assist with janitorial tasks like trash disposal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting throughout the site Support facilities maintenance activities by addressing minor repairs and reporting larger issues to supervisors Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in both English and Spanish to coordinate cleaning schedules and safety protocols Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with light painting or touch-up work on-site as needed to support project completion Skills Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to facilitate clear communication across diverse teams Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and general site upkeep Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship Excellent teamwork skills combined with proactive communication abilities This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to the success of construction projects.
