Role:
Join Veritas Environmental Services LLC as a Medical Janitorial Specialist at our state-of-the-art surgery center in Winston Salem, NC. Be a crucial part of our team, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff alike.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of surgical and patient areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from medical staff. Conduct routine inspections to uphold cleanliness standards. Dispose of hazardous waste according to protocols. Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients and visitors. Collaborate with team members to improve cleaning processes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in medical or commercial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment. Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts.
