Apply today and start your journey with Coffee Cup Travel Plazas TA Express! Custodian/Porter Earn $20 per hour working overnights PLUS an additional $2.00/hour on the weekends! Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; and perform related work as required. Position Requirements Vacuums, shampoos and spot cleans carpets, mops floors and furniture, washes windows. Removes trash in accordance with established procedures. Cleans and disinfects restrooms, shower rooms, cooler, freezers and other facilities; orders and stocks facilities with paper and supplies. Reports and responds to emergency calls for custodial assistance. Assists in the building maintenance team with set up and take down of furniture and equipment for a wide variety of store events. Performs various maintenance and custodial duties such as installation and repair to fixtures in restrooms, shower rooms and coolers. Assists with and performs refinishing of floors. Identifies stains and uses proper chemicals for removal. Maintains inventory and submits written requests for supplies; tests and evaluates new supplies and equipment. Maintains cooler presentation standards (full, faced, cleaned and fully signed). Ensures spaces are ready for the day by taking out trash, straightening furniture, dusting Skills & Experience Work with pesticides Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment Attention to detail and conscientiousness. Safely dispose of hazardous materials Identify stains and use proper chemicals for their removal Operate manual and power equipment. Work effectively in and around the public. Provide the highest level of guest service to team and guests. Perform physical labor. Understand and carry out oral and written directions. Maintain cooperative working relationships.
