Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces Carry out custodial responsibilities in both commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Maintain facilities by performing basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting larger issues to appropriate personnel Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve specialized equipment or techniques for heavy-duty cleaning Support general facilities maintenance duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the premises Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and surface sanitation Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting equipment issues Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and safety protocols Previous porter or facilities maintenance experience is highly desirable Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or floor scrubbers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently Embrace this opportunity to bring energy and professionalism to our cleaning team!
