Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Technician to join our Facilities team. Under the direction of the Custodial Team Leader, this position performs a variety of custodial and cleaning duties to ensure our community facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards. Responsibilities
- Provide custodial services for indoor and outdoor Association facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces throughout assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, floors, and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain shower and locker room facilities.
- Restock restroom supplies, paper products, soap, and other consumables.
- Clean windows, glass doors, walls, furniture, drinking fountains, entryways, and other interior surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
- Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, buffers, mops, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Follow all safety procedures, SDS requirements, and departmental guidelines when handling chemicals and cleaning products.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to supervisors.
- Lock and secure buildings and facilities when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to speak and understand English. Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of custodial, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, agents, equipment, and safety procedures. Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods when necessary.
- Ability to read product labels, safety information, and SDS documentation.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Must be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions. Work Environment
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Position requires flexibility to handle multiple assignments, interruptions, and changing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
