Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that facilities are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The Janitor will be responsible for various cleaning tasks across commercial properties, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure high standards of cleanliness Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support facilities upkeep Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use Follow established safety protocols while performing cleaning duties Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques Familiarity with floor care equipment and procedures Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus Basic maintenance skills are desirable, including porter experience Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties Join our team as a Janitor where your contributions will help create a clean and inviting atmosphere for everyone!
