Location:

Ogallala High School High School Custodian Ogallala Public Schools is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a High School Custodian. This position plays an important role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and ready for students, staff, and community members during school activities and athletic events.

Position Details:

Full-Time (up to 40 hours per week) 12 Month position

Primary Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare school facilities following athletic events, activities, and community use. Empty trash and recycling containers. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas. Clean and restock restrooms. Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment as needed. Ensure entrances, hallways, gyms, and common areas are clean and presentable. Secure buildings by locking doors and turning off lights when duties are complete. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Perform other custodial duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and efficiently. Dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical custodial tasks. Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends based on the activities schedule. Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required.
