This position will begin with a minimum of 30 hours per week with Palmer's , with the potential to grow into a larger role across both Palmer's Carpet Cleaning & Restoration and our sister company, Waste Away Dumpster Rentals , as we expand our fleet and operations. What You'll Do Initially, your responsibilities will focus on Palmer's and may include: Carpet and upholstery cleaning Area rug cleaning Air duct and dryer vent cleaning Tile and grout cleaning Assisting with restoration and specialty cleaning projects Loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining equipment Keeping company vehicles and work areas clean and organized Providing professional, friendly service to customers Completing jobs efficiently while maintaining our quality standards Assisting with other day-to-day operational needs Previous carpet-cleaning experience is not required. We can train the right person. What We're Looking For The right candidate will have: A valid driver's license and good driving record Previous experience working directly with customers Strong communication and customer-service skills Schedule flexibility based on customer appointments and business needs A strong track record of reliability and showing up on time Respect for company vehicles, tools, and equipment The ability to follow procedures and safely operate equipment Attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work The ability to work independently once trained The ability and willingness to perform physical, hands-on work A positive attitude and willingness to learn Interest in taking on additional responsibilities as our companies grow Equipment Care & Responsibility Our trucks, cleaning machines, tools, dumpsters, and other equipment are a major investment in our businesses. Future Waste Away responsibilities may include: Delivering and picking up roll-off dumpsters Safely operating company trucks and equipment Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Tarping and securing loads Communicating professionally with customers Assisting with haul-away and clean-out projects Maintaining trucks, dumpsters, trailers, and related equipment As the position expands, there may be opportunities for additional hours, increased compensation, additional responsibilities, and advancement within our companies. Schedule This position will begin at a minimum of approximately 30 hours per week . Because we operate service-based businesses, flexibility is important. Start and end times may vary depending on customer appointments, workload, commercial jobs, and seasonal demand.
