A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- direct the team in day to day cleaning
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers
