A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

certified manufacturing facility is located in Nashua, New Hampshire and is where we assemble and package all of our products in a clean-room environment. Critical Process cartridge, capsule and laboratory products are being used today by leading companies in the life sciences, food and beverage, healthcare, water purification and technology industries. Job Summary:
The Facilities Custodian performs day-to-day housekeeping services to the building to ensure a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards. He/she will perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, manufacturing areas, and other building interiors.
Responsibilities:
Maintains cleanliness in manufacturing areas and offices. Sweeps, vacuums, and washes floors, using appropriate equipment and supplies to maintain the cleanliness and appearance. Dusts, polishes and washes interior surfaces such as windows, furniture, walls, ceilings, etc. to maintain building in a clean and orderly condition. Cleans toilets, lavatories, washrooms, mop closets, etc, using appropriate supplies. Empties and relines trash receptacles and disposes of recyclables daily. Performs lifting and moving activities such as furniture and file cabinets. Assists in organization of manufacturing and facility areas. Capacity to establish procedures, policies and organizational standards, and the safe use of cleaning agents and equipment Maintain inventory of supplies, using computer systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
Experience :
3-5 years' custodial experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, skills; Ability to manage priorities and workflow; Self motivated. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols. Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to prepare and use various cleaning chemicals.
