Starting 45K Job description: Rousseau Total Fluid Care is currently seeking qualified candidates for Industrial Machine Cleaners (Workers are required to commute to the Newport/Claremont NH area each shift)

- Results Oriented More about the position: This position is very unique, as we are the only company in the area to perform such work.
As part of our cleaning team, you will assist in shutting down machines, removing debris from the manufacturing process, cleaning the sumps, walls and exteriors of the machine, and refilling with proper fluids to bring the machine back to optimal function. You will gain knowledge of the intricacies of multiple machines and ancillary equipment that is utilized in the manufacturing industry (aerospace, medical, gun manufacturers and more) We travel to facilities all over New England, transportation outside of the Newport/Claremont area is provided. A Clean National Background Check is required for entry into all of these facilities. Any felony resulting in the inability to own a gun will eliminate you from entry as these facilities will scan your legal ID and deny access in this situation.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
of the
Machine Cleaner:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to follow safety practices and sanitary procedures; proper lifting techniques; rules and regulations, and procedures to properly dispose of hazardous fluids, and chemicals; requirements of maintaining buildings in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
of the machine cleaner: Ability to comprehend simple instructions. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS
of the machine cleaner - Basic familiarity with computers, tablets and mobile devices; ability to retrieve and send e-mail.
REASONING ABILITY
of the machine cleaner- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
of the machine cleaner: The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100+ pounds.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years or older. Clean National background check required. We work various shifts (dependent on the contract/machine shut down capability). Transportation is provided for work outside of the Newport/Claremont area. Most work is within South/West/Central New Hampshire.
