Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment at a surgery center. The ideal candidate will follow instructions carefully and pay close attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met. Experience with hospital-grade cleaning or room cleaning is preferred but not required, as we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. This position offers consistent hours from Monday to Thursday, with shift from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established procedures to maintain a sterile and hygienic environment within the surgery center Follow detailed instructions to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively Pay close attention to detail, ensuring no area is overlooked during cleaning tasks Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, operating areas, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Skills Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently Reliability and punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts Prior experience with hospital-grade or room cleaning is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Good communication skills and ability to work independently Ability to work Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM This position offers paid training, vacation benefits if hired, and the opportunity to develop skills in a healthcare environment.
