A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Custodians to join our team. Custodians will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the premises are safe and functional for employees and visitors.Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet health and safety standards
Skills:
- Experience in facilities maintenance, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning chemicals
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a clean and organized work environment while utilizing your custodial skills.
