What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Black Seal License or ability to obtain one within one year of date of hire. Must have general knowledge of cleaning and cleaning equipment; (For example, knowledge/experiencein stripping floors and operating floor machinery). Snow Removal due to inclement weather Satisfactorily completed criminal history check, which include fingerprinting. This requirement is the financial responsibility of the employee.
