YCS team members are devoted professionals who are passionate about creating safe, clean, and welcoming environments for children and staff. Do you share these qualities? YCS is currently seeking a Part-Time Custodian for our school program in Hackensack. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the school building and surrounding grounds. Duties include routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; emptying trash; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting; restocking supplies; and assisting with room setups and special events. Additional responsibilities include performing minor maintenance tasks, reporting repair needs, monitoring building safety, and helping maintain outdoor areas through seasonal duties such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, and general groundskeeping. The Custodian plays an important role in ensuring a healthy and positive learning environment for students and staff.
