In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Your efforts will ensure that spaces are hygienic, well-maintained, and visually appealing for employees, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere while developing valuable custodial skills. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct routine janitorial duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain and operate floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and touch-up painting as needed. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning agents to ensure continuous availability. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and thoroughly. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning is advantageous. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards. Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary.
