Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Clean carpets using specialized equipment such as carpet extractors or steam cleaners to remove stains and dirt buildup. Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations. Support environmental services initiatives by properly disposing of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled maintenance or after-hours shifts. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods. Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners. Strong attention to detail with a focus on health and safety standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
