A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Eastern Lift Truck Co. Dock Helper Currently, we are seeking a Dock Helper to support our Piscataway, NJ location. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!

Main Duties:

Work diligently to keep the shop organized and clean Work to keep the yard clean Assist mechanics with shop jobs as necessary Unload delivery trucks as needed Keep shop supplies stocked Make certain industrial batteries are kept on charge General maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements:

Organizational skills a MUST Mechanically inclined Willingness to learn and adapt Clean Driving Record Strong communication Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative

Compensation:
