Position:

Substitute Hourly Janitor District-Wide

Effective Dates:

2025-2026 school year

Employment Terms:

Substitute Janitors are needed district-wide to be used on an as needed basis. No medical benefits; At-will position; not associated with any collective bargaining association

Reports To:

Principal and/or Building Supervisor/Head Custodian Job Goal(s): To provide students, staff and community members with a safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean place in which to learn, play, and develop

Qualifications:

Certification of good health signed by licensed physician. Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity to perform required tasks. Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial work. Demonstrated aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities. Must possess a Black Seal Fireman's License for boiler operation or be willing to obtain one within one year of employment.

Salary:

$26.40 per hour
