Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facility. Your efforts will ensure that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for members and staff to enjoy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere while developing valuable custodial and facilities maintenance skills. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all club areas Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces to meet health and safety standards Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality Assist with general facilities maintenance including minor repairs and reporting larger issues promptly Support industrial cleaning tasks when required, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety protocols Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed to ensure operational efficiency Follow safety guidelines and proper cleaning procedures to create a secure environment for staff and members Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial or residential environments Strong knowledge of custodial practices including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Physical stamina to perform manual tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout the shift Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment where everyone feels welcome!
