Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events
- Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Experience with facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
