The Custodial Supervisor will perform and oversee janitorial and custodial operations, including maintenance of custodial equipment, maintaining inventory levels, and the set up and take downs for programmatic and rental events. This position will supervise the Custodial Department to ensure the cleanliness of all the buildings and grounds of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science campus. How does it get done? Supervise and manage the Janitorial and Custodial team. Perform and manage set-ups and take-downs before and after events. Care for and maintain custodial equipment and supplies including ordering replacement parts, replenish inventory levels, etc. Provide excellent customer service and familiarize renters with general safety and facility operations. Who are the customers? Visitors to the Museum, staff, New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation, DCA and the people of New Mexico Ideal Candidate Visitors to the Museum, staff, New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation, DCA and the people of New Mexico Minimum Qualification No prior experience or training required. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Working Conditions Museum setting, exposure to cleaning chemicals and agents, must be able to lift 25 pounds, extensive walking and standing, exposure to atmospheric conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat, etc.) Supplemental Information Do you know what Total Compensation is?
