Job Overview Immediate opening for a custodian to Perform general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, table setup & breakdown, and restocking paper and soap supplies, etc. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Assist in the kitchen for Mon-Fri evening meals and for private party meals. Assist in general kitchen duties as requested in a private lodge/club. And other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as directed by the kitchen manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring all areas are sanitized and free from hazards. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff. Conduct regular cleaning duties including washing dishes, cleaning floors, and maintaining equipment. Support janitorial tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment for all staff. Perform custodial duties as needed, including floor care and commercial cleaning tasks. Assist with inventory management by checking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Experience Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, janitorial experience, or custodial work is advantageous. Knowledge of floor care practices and industrial cleaning methods is beneficial. Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles will be considered an asset. Basic maintenance skills such as buffing floors or minor repairs are a plus.
