BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY
The Custodian position will maintain the facility in a clean, orderly and sanitary manner. To perform this job successfully an associate must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these duties. DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
Removes/cleans refuse, which may include bio-hazardous materials, from various warehouse departments. Cleans offices, restrooms, break rooms and other areas. Operates floor buffer, sweeper/scrubber and other cleaning tools. Inspects building for damages and reports to manager as necessary. Handles and uses cleaning materials including products with chemicals. Supports the Safety Culture by following established SOP's. Engages in the local Safety Culture through safety team support and offering safety suggestions. Assists department supervisors in identifying risk to associates or the business and mitigate those risks. Participates in work clean program. Performs all duties within safety guidelines. Performs to specified productivity and quality expectations. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission. Loads, unloads, moves product by hand. To meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE
High school diploma or the equivalent required.SKILLS:
Basic computer skills required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
