Facility Sanitation Specialist Location:

Cazenovia, NY Shift:

Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 11:00PM (Full-Time)

Pay Rate:

$20/ hour About the Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to keep our combined office and manufacturing facility clean, safe, and operational. Working the evening shift, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high sanitation standards across both administrative workspaces and high-traffic production areas.

Key Responsibilities Office & Breakroom Care:

Vacuum carpets, sweep/mop hard floors, empty trash and recycling bins, sanitize desks, and deep-clean employee breakrooms and rest areas.

Restroom Sanitation:

Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and restock supplies in all facility restrooms daily.

Floor Care & Deep Cleaning:

Operate basic floor-cleaning equipment (e.g., auto-scrubbers, buffers) and manage spill cleanups as needed.

Inventory & Safety:

Monitor cleaning supply levels, notify management when restocks are needed, and strictly follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols (including SDS and proper PPE usage).

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Prior commercial, industrial, or custodial cleaning experience preferred.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform continuous physical labor throughout a 7.5-hour active shift.

Reliability:

Strong attendance record, punctual habits, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours.

Safety Awareness:

Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals, equipment safety, and basic sanitation practices.
