- 2024, 2025 Guthrie Corning Hospital is a 65-bed hospital that opened its new facility in 2014 and serves patients throughout the region.
Position Summary:
This position carries the responsibility for the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and the appearance of the hospital.Education, License & Cert:
This position has a minimum requirement of grammar school. This position requires the ability to follow written and oral instruction.Experience:
On the job training is provided for this position.Essential Functions:
1. Maintains cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the hospital facility by following department policies and procedures utilizing the proper chemicals, supplies, and equipment. 2. Maybe responsible for transporting hazardous, regulated, and non‐regulated waste to designated areas. 3. Movement of light equipment and furniture. 4. Collection and delivery of soiled and clean linen. 5. Assists in the orientation of new employees. 6. Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports. 7. Provides excellent customer service to all contacts.Other Duties:
1. It is understood that this description is not intended to be all‐inclusive and that other duties may be assigned as necessary in the performance of this position. 2. Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or nursing manager on the floor. Pay ranges from $17.47- 24.
