Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using appropriate tools and supplies, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain optimal appearance and safety standards. Handle janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas are spotless. Assist with custodial responsibilities including window cleaning, surface sanitation, and equipment maintenance to support overall facility upkeep. Support industrial cleaning projects by managing heavy-duty tasks such as equipment cleaning or specialized sanitation procedures. Maintain a safe work environment by following proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance tasks like minor repairs or facility inspections when needed. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, or polishing is desirable. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs or troubleshooting is advantageous. Experience in residential painting or general maintenance work can be beneficial but is not required. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
