50 shift differential Locations in Elbridge & Auburn, NY Responsibilities Clean and maintain production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment as assigned. Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste materials following established procedures. Restock restroom and facility supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials. Monitor facility cleanliness and promptly address spills, safety hazards, or housekeeping concerns. Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively. Follow all safety guidelines, cleaning procedures, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supply usage as required. Assist with special cleaning projects and support facility needs during audits, inspections, and events. Collaborate with team members to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Requirements Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to follow work instructions and respond to management direction. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, cleaning instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to safely use and handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Must apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
