Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming university campus. This full-time position offers consistent daytime hours, a supportive team environment, and long-term stability within a nationally established organization. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, athletic facilities, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces, including high-touch areas Empty trash and recycling containers and transport materials to designated collection points Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning items Assist with campus event setup and breakdown by moving tables, chairs, and furniture Safely operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals according to established procedures Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety issues Work across multiple campus buildings and adapt to varying cleaning needs Preferred Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience preferred Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and sanitation standards Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures with attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-traffic, indoor environment Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team Why Work Here Full-time employment with a consistent weekday schedule No nights or weekend work Stable position with long-term career potential Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Work Environment This role is based indoors across academic, administrative, laboratory, and athletic buildings on a university campus. Daily use of standard cleaning tools such as mops, vacuums, and sanitizing supplies is required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Geneva, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
