Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle specialized cleaning procedures such as pressure washing, floor care, and sanitation to ensure surfaces are hygienic and well-maintained. Conduct laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Manage heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture or large items during cleaning operations. Maintain cleanliness of all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance. Follow infection control procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination in sensitive environments such as healthcare facilities or food establishments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during service visits. Ensure proper disposal of waste and use sanitation practices that meet health regulations. Support custodial responsibilities by maintaining storage areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care is advantageous. Experience with chemical handling and the use of various cleaning equipment is essential for safety and efficiency. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely is required. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Knowledge of infection control protocols and sanitation procedures ensures safe practices across different environments.
