Job Description

Studio Cleaner Position Summary The Studio Cleaner is responsible for helping improve the efficiency of Joshua Warner Studios. This role ensures that the shop is safe, organized, and ready for fabrication each week. While everyone is expected to clean up after themselves, the Studio Cleaner helps maintain a high facilities standard for all. Responsibilities Shop & Facility Maintenance Sweep, vacuum, and dust fabrication, paint, office, and common areas. Consolidate and empty trash/scrap and recycling throughout the facility. Wipe down work surfaces, desks, and shared equipment. Keep entrances, hallways, and loading areas clean and presentable. Organization Return tools and equipment to their designated locations. Attend to hardware shelves, lumber offcuts, and "consumables" such as PPE. Keep mobile tool kits and workstations stocked with their listed items. Inventory Support Notify the Operations Manager when cleaning/safety supplies are running low. Assist with organizing material storage as needed. Qualifications Relevant experience in a similar role: office administration, artist studio assistants, general housekeeping, etc. (familiarity with theater production a plus) Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

Operations Reports to: Operations Manager Success as a Studio Cleaner would be measured with completed task checklists and a seamless system of replenishing necessary items for our team. The impact is felt by fabricators creating work in optimal conditions to make both them, and in turn our clients, content.
Scheduling and Pay Rate:
$22/hr | W-2
Hours:
Flexible, one day every weekend (7hr minimum shift)
