Mornings, Mid Days Job Summary The Retail Store Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment that supports a positive shopping experience for customers and a safe workspace for employees. This role performs routine cleaning duties throughout the sales floor, fitting rooms, stockroom, and common areas of an apparel retail location. Key Responsibilities Dust display fixtures, shelving, merchandise racks, mirrors, and decorative elements Sweep and mop hard-surface floors throughout the sales floor, entrance, fitting rooms, and back-of-house areas Vacuum carpeted areas as needed Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the store and replace liners Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and fitting rooms Clean glass doors, windows, and display cases to remove smudges and fingerprints Wipe down counters, checkout areas, and high-touch surfaces Spot-clean spills and stains promptly to prevent slip/fall hazards Maintain cleanliness of stockroom and receiving areas Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged fixtures to management Restock restroom and break room supplies (soap, paper towels, tissue) as needed Follow all safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals/equipment
