Job Description

Parallel Employment Group working with one of our customer in Lancaster NY for a Facilities Custodian who can assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning workplace for all employees and visitors. We're looking for a dedicated Facilities Custodian to join our team on 2nd shift to support this mission through thorough cleaning, upkeep, and facility support across our buildings and grounds.

PM Compensation:
$21.00•$26.00 per hour depending on experience
Qualifications:
Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, as needed Requirements Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in offices, production areas, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch surfaces and equipment according to health and safety protocols. Empty trash and recycling bins; manage proper waste disposal per safety and environmental regulations. Maintain building exteriors and grounds, including light outdoor cleaning and trash removal. Restock and monitor cleaning and hygiene supplies throughout the facilities. Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues. Support the preventive maintenance program in collaboration with the maintenance team. Operate and maintain push or ride-on floor scrubbers in high-traffic areas. Contribute to snow removal and sidewalk salting duties as needed for 2nd shift. Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements in compliance with the Report safety hazards or quality concerns promptly to the supervisor.
