A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Shifts Available:
Evenings M-F 6pm - 10pm 6pm - 9pm Wage $16.50/hr. Paid Training Weekly Pay Scope of Responsibility Prospects are responsible for taking precautions for building space by completing the following sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and healthy working environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas. Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors as required. Resupply any paper products needed in designated receptacles (Paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Collect and dispose of all trash in receptacles in assigned areas. Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures. Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security. Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervision. Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect. Maintain good communication with your supervisor and other employees. Provide outstanding customer service. Communicate any needed supplies, repairs and/or maintenance work needed to your supervisor. Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. Must meet minimum age requirements. Integrity and ability to work independently or as a team. Housekeeping, cleaning, personal care aid, or janitorial experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Move or traverse through assigned work areas. Frequent reaching and lifting Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting. Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances. Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
