Applicant must have reliable transportation to commute to work. (Serious Applicant Only) Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain sanitation in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies regularly. Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper handling of chemical agents. Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers and other custodial tools safely and effectively. Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy objects or supplies. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with staff or visitors.
