Day Porter

Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Assist with janitorial and custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are tidy and well-organized. Support facilities maintenance by reporting issues related to lighting, plumbing, or equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, entrances, hallways, and parking lots to create an inviting environment for all visitors. Use industrial cleaning tools and supplies safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments. Familiarity with residential painting and basic maintenance tasks is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly. Speaking English is required Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
