Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and dependable Porter for a Co-op located in Long Beach, NY. If you are a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in keeping a building clean and well-maintained, this could be a great fit for you! Under the supervision of the Superintendent, the Porter is responsible for the general cleanliness of all assigned work areas, including common areas, hallways, lobbies, and building grounds.
Responsibilities:
Routine cleaning and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building Trash Removal and Recycling Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area and pool deck during season Care for property owned maintenance and cleaning equipment Assist Building Superintendent with projects, as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years experience in a maintenance/janitorial role is a must Strong communication skills with building staff and residents Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
