What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Responsibilities Clean the exterior of all pipes and tanks with power foamer. Clean all the floors using brushes, squeegee, or power foam floor machine. Clean out all drains, including disassembly and reassembly. Remove empty chemical containers and replace with a fresh supply. Refill the soaps, hand sanitizers and foot washers as needed. Clean all office spaces in the production area.
