Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In-Store Cleaner to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment for our customers and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the store are spotless, safe, and well-organized. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create an inviting shopping experience while supporting the overall cleanliness and maintenance standards of our retail space. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facilities upkeep. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of sales floors, restrooms, break areas, and storage spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to ensure they are spotless and safe for foot traffic Maintain cleanliness of windows, display cases, shelves, and fixtures to enhance store presentation Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Support in deep cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning or floor stripping as scheduled Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment at all times Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping) and industrial cleaning practices Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive work ethic Join us in creating a clean, safe environment that makes every customer feel welcome!
