Evening and weekend availability required Victor's Café is hiring a hardworking Porter / Dishwasher to help keep our restaurant clean, organized, safe, and ready for service. This is a hands-on restaurant role. Portering and deep cleaning are the priority, but when the dish station gets busy, you jump in and help the kitchen get through service. We need someone reliable who does not wait around to be told what is dirty, broken, low, or backed up. Responsibilities Deep clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, bathrooms, kitchen support areas, storage rooms, stairways, hallways, employee areas, and entrances Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and keep floors, walls, fixtures, furniture, glass, and high-touch surfaces clean Clean and restock restrooms throughout the shift Handle trash, recycling, cardboard, and storage areas properly and keep them organized Support opening, closing, and post-service cleaning Deep clean behind and underneath furniture, equipment, stations, and other hard-to-reach areas Work in the dish station as needed, including washing, sanitizing, drying, and putting away dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools Keep the dish area clean, stocked, and organized during service Help with basic restaurant upkeep, including replacing simple fixtures, tightening loose hardware, moving furniture, and reporting repairs or safety issues to management Assist with deliveries, private-event setup and breakdown, and other operational needs as assigned Safely use cleaning chemicals, commercial dish equipment, ladders, and protective equipment Qualifications Restaurant, hotel, dishwashing, porter, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred Comfortable cleaning bathrooms, handling trash, and working in a busy kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend the shift standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the restaurant Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Takes pride in keeping a space clean and does not need to be chased down to do the work Victor's Café is an equal opportunity employer.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
