New York, NY Job Details Temporary $25.30 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Removing debris Sanitation Moving Restroom cleaning Facilities maintenance Full Job Description We are currently hiring for temporary, on-call maintenance positions at a residential building. Candidates should be reliable, and professional.
Responsibilities include:
Porter/Elevator Operator Clean and sanitize common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, as well as polish surfaces as needed. Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling materials from common areas. Remove snow, ice, or other debris from building entrances and sidewalks, as needed. Set up and arrange furniture for building events or meetings. Notify building management of any maintenance issues or repair needs observed during cleaning. Assist residents with carrying packages or moving items when requested. Operate the elevator to transport residents, guests, and packages to the appropriate floors. Greet residents and guests upon entering the elevator and engage in friendly, professional interactions. Ensure the elevator remains clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues or malfunctions to building maintenance immediately. Assist elderly, disabled, or mobility-impaired residents as needed. Report any maintenance issues or unusual occurrences to building management. Maintain an organized logbook of elevator usage, if required by building management.
