Schedule:

20-28 hours per week, with flexible hours Monday - Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented person to help keep our facility clean, organized, and safe. This part-time role includes routine cleaning, recycling, occasional special projects, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain facility areas, including floors, and keep work areas neat and orderly.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Break down cardboard boxes and prepare them for recycling.
• Safely operate a forklift to move cardboard to the recycling baler machine.
• Complete special cleaning projects and other related tasks as assigned.
• Use and care for cleaning tools and equipment properly; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company safety procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift; willingness to complete any required company training or certification.
• Ability to safely operate a floor scrubbing machine after proper training.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and pay close attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift and move materials associated with the role.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and effective communication.
