Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining proper storage practices. Conduct sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards across all areas of the facility. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other custodial tools efficiently and safely. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, or replacing fixtures to support overall facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, safety inspections, and incident reports as required. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility needs or requests from staff or visitors. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Must have a smartphone Must have your own transportation Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocol procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
