Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Hospitality Services, Hospitality Services Staff members maintain a clean and comfortable environment in all areas of the Ticonderoga Early Learning Center and the Silver Bay Campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
I:
Ticonderoga Early Learning Center Cleans assigned areas including classrooms, restrooms, offices, meeting areas, hallways, stairwells and all other common areas of the Ticonderoga Early Learning Center. (32 Hours Per Week) Empty trash, vacuum, sweep, dust, washes windows and restocks toiletries in all above listed areas. (8 hours per week)
II:
Silver Bay Campus:
Assists with cleaning of cottages, hotel rooms and other routes daily. Daily launders all terry, bedspreads, blankets, bed pads, and shower curtains upon their arrival. Removes stains; checks condition of all items being sent for use by guests and staff. Practices safe chemical usage.
Note:
If under 16 years old, may not use bathroom cleaning chemicals. Maintains clean and clutter-free areas on assigned route and hospitality services staff area. Reports any damage or maintenance concerns. Performs other duties, as requested.
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent desired but not required. A valid driver's license required. Ability to interpret oral and written informational data is required. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people representing all social and economic segments of the community. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to enforce rules in a professional and positive manner is a must.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to walk, pull, push, sit, bend, or stand for prolonged periods of time. Other physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
