  • Samaritan Hospital - Full Time - Evenings
  • Samaritan Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Project/Floorcare Technician to perform specialized housekeeping project work, including floor care and carpet care throughout assigned areas of the hospital. This role works independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform floor care and carpet care maintenance services.

+ Complete housekeeping project assignments throughout the facility.

+ Follow standard housekeeping, infection control, and safety procedures.

+ Adhere to blood-borne pathogen and hazardous communication guidelines.

+ Train team members on proper project techniques and operating standards.

+ Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

+ Provide excellent customer service and professional interactions.

+ Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities independently.

  • Qualifications
  • + Six months to one year of housekeeping, environmental services, or floor maintenance experience preferred. + Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. + Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines. + Knowledge of infection control practices and universal precautions preferred. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Pay Range:
  • $16.70 - $20.36 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
