A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Cleaners to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction site by performing general cleaning duties throughout all phases of the project. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to workplace safety. Must be Scissor Lift certified as well as OSHA 10.
Responsibilities:
Perform rough, final, and touch-up cleaning of construction areas. Remove dust, dirt, debris, and construction materials from work areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces. Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas. Clean restrooms, break areas, and common spaces as needed. Assist with moving light materials and maintaining an organized job site. Follow OSHA safety regulations and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Safely operate cleaning equipment and tools. Report safety hazards or damaged equipment to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned.
