Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: Must have knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understandfollow simple oralwritten directions. The right person for this position will be thorough, dependable, and in good physical condition. The ideal candidate must show initiativeimaginationwillingness to perform janitorial tasks.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform and be knowledgeable in the upkeep of building, furniture and fixtures such as: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing halls, stairs and entries Dusting, polishing, washing furniture, walls, lavatory facilities Vacuuming carpets and furniture Securing windows and offices Operating floor care machines Securing and locking windows and officeclassroom doors. Operates mechanical equipment, moves, or unloads heavy furniture and boxes Making complete rounds of all areas of jurisdiction daily
