As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring that grounds, walkways, and landscaped areas are well-kept and inviting. This position offers hands-on work in a variety of outdoor settings, with opportunities to interact directly with clients and contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of the property. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating welcoming spaces, this is an excellent opportunity to make a visible impact. Responsibilities Empty and clean outdoor trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Remove debris from grounds and loading docks to ensure safe and tidy areas. Operate hand tools, walk-behind and ride-on mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other power equipment safely and efficiently. Rake leaves, sweep, and blow walkways to keep paths clear and presentable. Weed planting beds by hand and apply chemical weed control as needed. Perform daily litter pickup and landscape debris cleanup. Assist with shrub and tree pruning to promote healthy growth and appearance. Care for perennials and seasonal color plantings on a daily basis. Provide turf care to maintain healthy lawns. Assist with setup and breakdown for special events as required. Perform snow removal duties during winter months to ensure safe access. Communicate directly with clients regarding site needs and service updates. Maintain all equipment to proper working and safety standards. Qualifications Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
