Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and window cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Utilize floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-kept surfaces. Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed to support facility operations. Maintain supplies by monitoring inventory levels and restocking cleaning products and equipment efficiently. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to ensure a secure work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing surfaces. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, and other custodial equipment safely. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions throughout shifts.
